Koło Naukowe Grafików KWADRAT od 2010 roku uczestniczy w tworzeniu projektu naukowo - artystycznego "W stronę obrazu - fotografia w Europie Środkowej", zaplanowanego początkowo jako sesja naukowa z jedną wystawą towarzyszącą. W momencie decyzji o podjęciu współpracy z Muzeum Historii Fotografii koncepcja Projektu zaczęła się rozwijać, a wystąpienie do Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego o fundusze pozwoliło na większy rozmach i kreatywnść. Aktualnie Koło bierze udział w organizacji sesji naukowej, wystaw towarzyszących i innych wydarzeń na zasadzie wolontariatu. Członkowie Koła występują także w charakterze Obserwatorów, którzy wezmą udział w Debacie organizowanej w ramach Projektu na Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym w styczniu 2013 roku.

 

 

Student Scientific Circle KWADRAT has been participating in the creation of academic - artistic project "Towards the Image - Photography in Central Europe" planned initially as a scientific session with one accompanying exhibition since 2010. At the time of the decision to cooperate with the Museum of the History of Photography in Cracow concept of the projct began to develop and acquisition funds from the Visegrad Fund allowed for greater elan and creativity. Currently the Circle is involved in the organization of academic sessions, accompanying exhibitions and other associated events on a voluntary basis. The members of the Circle are also the Observers, who will take part in the debate which will be held under the Project at the Pedagogical University of Cracow in January 2013.

 

 

 

O Projekcie

 

Międzynarodowy projekt „W Stronę Obrazu – Fotografia w Europie Środkowej" powstał z inicjatywy Muzeum Historii Fotografii i Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie, których współpraca trwa od kilkunastu lat. Projekt finansowany przez Fundusz Wyszehradzki składa sie z dwudniowej sesji naukowej, debaty pokonferencyjnej, 8 wystaw, warsztatów artystycznych i innych wydarzeń, w których weźmie udział około 100 artystów, naukowców, pedagogów, studentów i animatorów sztuki z Czech, Polski, Słowacji i Węgier. Partnerami Projektu są wyższe uczelnie, stowarzyszenia, fundacje, galerie sztuki z krajów tego obszaru Europy. Większość wydarzeń Projektu odbędzie się w Krakowie, na pierwsze realizacje organizatorzy zapraszają w październiku 2012, zakończenie w czerwcu 2013. Projekt skierowany jest do środowisk artystycznych, naukowych i akademickich krajów Europy Środkowej, a w szczególności do ludzi młodych; studentów, debiutujących artystów, naukowców, animatorów kultury. Stąd udział Koła Naukowego Kwadrat Wydziału Sztuki Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie w formułowaniu programu i organizacji Projektu, stąd także znaczące uczestnictwo młodych twórców w każdym z wydarzeń, od wystaw po debatę.

 

About the project

 

The International Project "Towards the Image - Photography in Central Europe" was created on the initiative of long-term partners: the Museum of Photography (Muzeum Historii Fotografii) and the Pedagogical University of Cracow (Uniwersytet Pedagogiczny w Krakowie). The Project is financed from the Visegrad Fund. It consists of a scientific session, post-conference debate, 8 exhibitions, artistic workshops and other events, and will be participated by approximately 100 artists, scientists, pedagogues, students and art animators from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The Project partners are universities, associations, foundations and art galleries from different countries of this region of Europe. Most of the events associated with the Project will be held in Cracow between October 2012 and June 2013. The project is addressed to artistic, scientific and academic circles from Central Europe, and in particular to young people; students, debuting artists, scientists and culture animators. This explains participation of the "Kwadrat" Student Scientific Circle from the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University of Cracow in organising the Project and developing its agenda as well as attendance of numerous young artists at each of the events - from exhibitions to the debate.
